Meet Natasha Bourgoin: Fall 2019 Chris Herron Professional Development Fund Recipient
The Chris Herron Professional Development Fund provides financial support for emerging nonprofit leaders to participate in professional development opportunities they might otherwise not have access to. Today, we are delighted to introduce you to one of our Fall 2019 grant recipients, Natasha Bougoin, Family Mobility Mentor at EMPath.
Natasha is the proud mother of three children. Ever since she had her first child at the end of her senior year of high school, she was determined to show the world and her family that she was going to make it. She ended up graduating in 2014 with her Bachelor’s degree from Wheelock College and started working in the field of human services, mainly with the homeless population. Natasha loved helping people and seeing the impact she could have on someone’s life. This is when she decided to go back to school in 2016 for her MSW. After three long, hard years filled with sweat and tears and she finally graduated in May of 2019 from Simmons College!
