Meet the YNPN Boston Leadership Team
Caitlyn Burke, Co-Director of Programming and Events
Members of the YNPN Boston Leadership Team play a vital role in helping to develop a stronger, higher impact nonprofit community in the Boston area. Being part of the Leadership Team also provides members with unique opportunities to grow their personal and professional networks while increasing their technical and leadership skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As we recruit new members for the Leadership Team, we are excited to introduce you to some of our current members who are sharing what being part of the YNPN community means to them. Caitlyn Burke is a Co-Director of Programming and Events who works as a Donor Services Manager at the Brookline Community Foundation. Below, Caitlyn tells us more about her involvement with YNPN Boston.
What made you decide to join YNPN?
I wanted to connect with other young professionals in the nonprofit sector, while working on my own professional development.
What do you like most about being an LT member?
What I enjoy most about being an LT member is the connections I’ve made. It’s an awesome group of people to get to collaborate with.
How has serving as an LT member helped to advance your professional goals?
Serving as an LT member has made me more confident in my networking and leadership skills.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your experience as an LT member?
It’s a great way to stay connected and meet new people during a time when that isn’t happening as often as it did pre-pandemic.
