Networking with a Twist: Keeping It Real

Networking with a Twist: Keeping It Real

Why do we spend our time networking? And why does it feel so impersonal?

Join YNPN Boston for our next Networking with a Twist event on Wednesday, April 6 to tackle these questions and more. We’ll be reading and discussing Megan Schumann’s article, “The Opposite of Networking.” There will be time to brainstorm tactics for how to make networking more genuine and to identify how networking relates to your own personal and professional goals.

When the session ends, you’ll have gained a new “accountability buddy” to help you stick to your goals — someone who can help you bring out a more human side of networking with a personal connection.

Light refreshments will be available. This is a free event and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Nearest MBTA subway stop: Park Street on the Red and Green lines.

We hope to see you there!

This event is part of the YNPN Boston “Networking with a Twist” series, which offers an opportunity to socialize with young nonprofit professionals and make meaningful connections in an inclusive, low-pressure setting. Each networking event in this series offers a “twist” to help squelch the awkwardness and spark comfortable conversation.
